Taking care of your bonnet

Washing by hand: Wash your bonnet in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Avoid twisting the fabric too much, as this could deform the visor. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue, which can cause stains or discoloration.
Machine washing:Wash your bonnet in cold water or at a low temperature, inside out, preferably in a laundry bag. Do not use fabric softener, as it damages the fibers and reduces softness and sheen. Use a gentle cycle and avoid spinning.
Drying: Air-dry your bonnet and avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading. Do not use a tumble dryer.
Ironing:Use a medium temperature. To protect the fabric and avoid unwanted shine, place a thin, clean cloth over your bonnet while ironing. Linen responds best to ironing when slightly damp (not wet).
Storage:Between seasons, store your bonnet in a dry, ventilated place, preferably in a cotton bag. Do not store your linen bonnet in plastic bags.
